Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.s)

1. How long will it take to receive my seat covers?

    Many factors affect delivery times. If you have ordered a ready-made item (Semi Custom or Universal covers), shipment will generally occur in 2-5 business days. The vast majority of Tailormade covers orders take from 7 - 10 business days to manufacture, plus shipping time. Occasionally unforeseen circumstances can delay an order. This could include anything from having to make a new pattern for your seat to getting skins that match perfectly, etc. If there are any delays with your order, we will notify you via email. On rare occasions, orders may take up to 6 weeks to ship.

2. How true are the colors that I see on the website?

    We have tried to represent the colors seen on the site as true as possible according to our computer monitors. There's three instances that could cause the colors to vary. First, monitor settings from computer to computer may distort the true color. Second, dye lots change from time to time with our supplier which can cause slight variances in color. Finally, the wool sometimes takes to the dyes in different ways, producing slight variances (now you understand why matching colors can cause delays!). If you're ordering anything from our Tailormade series, you can request that a color sample be sent to you before your order is produced (this option is available in the checkout process). We keep a small piece cut from the same skin here on file that we will use to match your covers exactly to the sample sent.

3. How far down the back do the covers go? Will it cover my pocket in the back?

    No, your pocket won't be covered and will still be accessible. Seat covers will go down about 6" in the back.

4. I am ordering Tailormade Supervest or Tailormade Insert covers. How does the seat cover stay in place on the backrest?

    On most models, the headrest posts will hold the seat cover in place. On models that do not have headrest, or have off center headrests, straps will hold them in place.

5. Which covers should I order?

    That all depends on your taste. If you're looking for a custom, tailored fit, then order from our Tailormade series.  This series is more expensive, but you are guaranteed a perfect fit and also can request a swatch for the perfect color as well (option available during the checkout process). Tailormade covers last much longer on average and also come with a longer warranty (varies by type of cover).

    The Ready Made series is great if you're looking for a fantastic value. While not guaranteed to be a perfect fit, you'll find that they will fit quite well on certain seat profiles. Any alterations specific to your vehicle (a seat belt guide, or side air bags, for example) will be done in our factory at no additional charge.
