The Semi-Custom is the best all-around solution for discerning drivers who desire the luxurious look and feel of sheepskin. Combines the perfect balance of pre-made affordability with the highest quality 100% genuine sheepskin you've come to expect from Superlamb.

Make Your Ride More Comfortable

  • Never too hot or too cold, sheepskin maintains a steady body temperature all year round - it's thermostatic quality permits air flow between its natural hollow fibers allowing it to “breathe”, producing a cooling effect in summer by wicking heat and sweat away from the body. In winter the hollow fibers trap body heat, creating an insulating effect that keeps you warm but never too hot
  • Fully compatible with heated seats, warmth will penetrate through
  • Dense fleece adds cushion to hard or uncomfortable seats

Superior Seat Protection

  • Eliminate the usual wear and tear on seats from getting in and out of vehicle
  • Water resistant
  • Block dangerous UV rays from fading, discoloring and cracking seats
  • Stop dye transfer from blue jeans to seats (Black sheepskin)
  • Protect seats from indentations caused by heavy objects
  • Prevent accidental punctures from sharp objects
  • Backed with a soft lining that prevents seat cover from creating scuff marks on seats

Long Lasting Durability

  • Fire and burn resistant, prevent cigarette burns on seats
  • Stain resistant, coffee and soft drink spills are easily cleaned
  • Tear resistant, sheepskin is extremely durable
  • Expected lifespan of 8-10 years when cared for properly

Materials and Workmanship

  • Cut from solid sheepskin pelts (large sections are not pieced together)
  • Durable elastic straps and metal hooks keep the seat bottom portion of cover securely in place
  • Sturdy elastic binding around the inside edges holds cover snuggly to the seat
  • Built-to-last, heavy-duty 3-strand polyester threading that will not break or unravel
  • Seams are made virtually invisible using a proprietary process
  • Lined with a soft, flame retardant cotton backing

About Our Sheepskins

  • We use only the finest, 100% genuine grade-A premium Merino sheepskin from Australia or New Zealand
  • Dense fleece measures approximately 1" deep (25mm)
  • Will not shed, even after many years (when new, slight shedding may occur along seams which will stop over time)
  • Stain resistant due to the naturally occurring oils in sheepskin
  • Hypoallergenic, will not cause irritation or allergic reactions
  • Will not smell bad, any light odor will dissapate over time
  • Curly wool available upon request

Seat Coverage Area

  • Front and sides of seat are covered, caps down the back side of the backrest approximately 6-8 inches allowing access to any map pockets; controls on seat bottom are left open (cover tucks between seat cushion and plastic molding)

Air Bag Safety

  • Absolutely all our seat covers are 100% seat side air bag compatible
  • Inside the backrest portion of the cover and along the side facing the outside of the vehicle, we use breakaway stitching and/or Velcro that allow for the free movement of seat side airbags in the event of deployment, even if cover has shifted on the seat
  • See our side airbag deployment demonstration video

Colors

  • Our colors are designed to look great in any vehicle, regardless of vehicle manufacturer
  • We cannot guarantee that the color ordered will match your interior, even if the vehicle's VIN is provided
  • For customers who provide a photo we will gladly offer our opinion on which color is the best match
  • Colors are generally fade resistant and should last many years
  • Fading is less likely to occur in vehicles that are not continually exposed to direct sunlight and with lighter colors

Care and Cleaning

  • Light brushing with a wire dog brush and vacuuming will keep them fluffy if they get matted down
  • Febreeze or similar can be used safely
  • Scotchguard can be safely applied, however it is not necessary due to the natural stain resistance of sheepskin
  • Spot clean with water and mild soap
  • If a drink spills on them, blot up as much liquid as possible and allow to air dry
  • For deep cleaning, sheepskin can be dry cleaned; never put sheepskin in washer or dryer!

In The Box

  • Seat cover for either low or high back bucket seat, sold as singles; each seat cover consists of one single piece (backrest and seat bottom portion are sewn together); matching headrest covers sold separately

Semi-custom fit covers are pre-made in multiple sizes for the most popular vehicles. We ship the appropriate size based on the vehicle and seat selection. This cover is not custom made to order. Learn more about fit options

  • Durable elastic straps and metal hooks keep the seat bottom portion of cover securely in place and will not slip, slide or leave markings on seat when installed correctly
  • Straps will not affect power seat motor function or electronics underneath seat bottom when installed properly
  • Alterations included free of charge: openings for headrests, openings for armrests that are attached to side of seat and openings for integrated seat belts
  • Alterations we do not make: cutouts for levers on side or top of seat (you can make yourself, which does not void warranty) or controls on side of seat (cover is designed to be tucked in between seat cushion and plastic molding, keeping controls open)
  • Extensive alterations, such as adding or removing material, include additional charges. While uncommon, extensive alterations are considered custom and any work we perform to the cover on the customer's behalf make that cover final sale (non-returnable and non-refundable). If this applies to your order, we will contact you prior to processing to request your consent

Front Row / Middle Row Seat Types

  • Suitable for most low back bucket seats that have adjustable headrests that move up and down, regardless of the seat’s upholstery material (leather, cloth or vinyl), if armrests are attached to the side of seat or if seat belt guides are present on the top corner of the backrest
  • Compatible with many high back seats with integrated headrests that do not adjust
  • Sports seats with leg extensions – Compatible, however does not allow for leg extension movement. OK for use with manual leg extensions but not recommended for powered leg extensions to prevent accidental motor burnout. For covers that allow the leg extension to extend and retract, see our Superlamb Original and Superlamb SuperVest seat covers.

  • No need to remove seats from vehicle

Actual color can be affected by how dye takes to individual skins when tanned and dye lot changes by the tanneries we source our skins from. We feel our photos are an excellent representation of our colors, however viewing conditions such as monitor settings and ambient lighting can affect how they appear to a customer. Note: These instructions are general guidelines for the installation of sheepskin seat covers. Due to the wide variety of seat styles, actual installation steps may vary.

Step 1

Lowback seats with removable headrests - Remove headrest completely from seat

Lowback seats with non-removable headrests - Your seat cover will have a velcro strip that must be pulled apart and slipped over headrest

Highback seats with integrated headrests - The seat cover will slip over the whole seat

Step 2

Recline the backrest portion of your seat, fitting cap over top of seat.

Step 3

Take the three straps in center seam of seat cover and pull them (tugging hard) through the break between the seat and backrest. If seat does not allow for center break strap to be pulled through, cut that strap off.

Step 4

Take the front corners of seat cover (in sitting position) and turn them inside out and place them on the seat corners. Keeping seam of seat cover lined up with seam of vehicle's seat, turn (fold) cover back to normal by working your way to center of seat from either corner.

Step 5

Bring backrest upright and tuck in all excess sheepskin into break of seat. (If seat is designed with bottom molding, tuck in excess side skirts of seat cover inside plastic molding).

Step 6

Take shorter center strap and attach to any portion under the seat. Attach metal hooks on long outside straps (one at a time) to hole in white fitting rod provided. Pull rod through under seat to the front.

Step 7

Unclip hooks from fitting rod and connect to 'D' rings located on the front of the seat cover. If 'D' rings are not present, attach elsewhere, avoiding electrical wires.

Step 8

Take remaining straps found on side panels of upper half and lower half of cover and fasten to any attachment under seat. Do not attach to electrical wires.

Step 9

For lowback seats only (seats with an adjustable headrest). You should now have a snug fit and be ready to replace headrests. After locating position of headrest shafts, use a sharp instrument to pierce cover, cutting a small slit from front to back and side to side. Insert headrest poles through cover and into the headrest shafts.
